Pachmarhi
Pachmarhi or Queen of Satpura, address in either way is the most beautiful and blissful hill station of Bhopal. A lovely verdant girdled by the Satpura range amidst of forest groves of wild bamboo, jamun, dense sal forests and delicate bamboo thickets. The radiating centre of this place is the rock paintings in the cave shelters of the Mahadeo Hills depicts the amazing art by the humans around 1000years old

It is situated at a height of 1100 m in a valley of the Satpura Range. Dhupgarh, the highest point (1,350 m) in the central India region. Pachmarhi got its name from Hindi word "Panch Marhi", where "Panch" means five and "Marhi" means caves. These caves were built by five Pandwa brothers of Mahabharatha during their fourteen years of banish.
